This hold must have taken much time to the architect to build, the contest requests were very pedantic, I think I would have got bored soon in building all those meeting rooms. The work is very good and it fulfills the contest requirements very well, but, due to the nature of the contest itself, the gameplay becomes quite repetitive too (or at least this has been my experience).
Anyway it's quite different from classic DROD and it's the first hold (and probably the only one, but I didn't play them all so I can't know) to include detective fiction.
About the mistery I came up with an open ending:

×While it's true that Malak couldn't have built the barricades in Weston-Malak exclusion room coming from his Second Basement entrance, he could have done it anyway following this path:
First Basemente Malak 3 East: there is a trick to exit from the established path and reach Babbler's entrance, so Malak could have entered in secret Babbler's course thus reaching the infamous room.
And he's not the only one who could have reached all the barricated rooms (apart from Babbler of course), but I won't spoil, if you want to discover it by yourself just return to the map.
