I apparently seem to be the only one stupid enough to decide to buy a game I haven't tried the demo for, because I haven't seen anybody mention the same problem I ran into. I was just banking on the fact that I would want the full version of the RPG either way and I jumped straight to buying it.

When I tried to install it, however, it threw errors. It couldn't copy certain files or thought they were corrupt. I downloaded the installer again as a precaution, but nothing. So I decided to try something else. I downloaded and installed the demo. That worked fine, so I ran the full installer again and this time it worked.

Apparently the full installer runs under the assumption that the demo is already there. If this was already mentioned elsewhere, Nothing came up in my searches, so I'm sorry for a possible double post. But I figured there may be others who might run into the same problem in the future.

Thanks for posting about this. No, the full version shouldn't have that dependency, but I'll keep an eye out.

Yeah, I figured it wasn't supposed to be that way. And I can't guarantee that that's what was happening. But it does appear that way.

Hmmm... no DROD RPG or demo on my machine at work here... let's see what happens...

EDIT: Nope, sorry - no errors while installing here, and it did ask me just fine to create or import a player...
