My astonishing hold is finally about to be released! Featuring:
55 elegantly designed rooms in 3 levels!
A gripping plot with more twists than you can shake a stick at!
Cunning puzzles and deadly traps!
And an almost fanatical... OK, I'll stop now.

Now onto the serious bit. This hold is complete, with every room solvable, and I'm pretty sure it's almost bug-free, but you (yes! you!) may well be able to spot something that I didn't.
If the first two levels are boring you, give this hold a chance until the third; it's bigger than the other two put together and contains some clever puzzles which I'm very proud of. It also contains almost all of the storyline. That's not to say the first two are total rubbish either, of course.
Credits:
Me, for making it
Schik, for making it work
And of course, Webfoot and Caravel, for making DROD and KDD.

I think your orb problems were from the "hall of cartographers". There are orbs there that don't do anything and an orb that makes an error noise when you hit it. You might want to fix that soon and upload the new file.

Yeah. The upper-right orb's leftmost lightning is quite interesting. Playtest it and see.

This might be an ongoing problem.. but it went away when I exported and imported the hold again. I know for certain that the version at the top now is clean, but for those of you who have already downloaded: I think it's still possible, just a bit harder. If you don't think it's possible, then download the new version.

It's not possible. See, you can only hit 2 orbs after the first. The second orb opens a door and doesn't let you hit any new orbs; the first opens a few doors BUT CLOSES THE WAY BACK. And since no other orbs let you back in...

I accidentally put a very old version up there. The new version is up now. Don't keep the old version you've got, joker: it ends halfway through the second level. That goes for anyone else who downloaded the one with the filesize of about 5 kb.
The Hall of Cartographers is causing a whole load of problems, so I'm going to remove it entirely. Everyone redownload.

Sorry - maybe I should reattach before I post lower down. I don't account for how quickly people read this forum. It's there now, to be sure. And sorry for posting the old version earlier, too. I'm in screwup city. :(

I'm about to delete the room, but I did remove the roach and wall up the room entirely in the current version, so there should be no barrier to the blue door opening. This may be a bug.

You still have to enter the room if it's marked as required.

Oy vey, this will be my third time completing the first level.

Profuse apologies. :Notworthy
At least it's easy. If the problems had happened in the third level, you'd have called it not worth the bother by now.
The current version is hopefully the final one.
At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that all this stems from a bug that wasn't my fault. Although this latest error was a result of my own ignorance.

I can't solve 3s1e level 2. I always mess up somewhere along the line and I can't exit the tar maze. Any advice?

I hate to say it, but I think your neather-like room in the third level is broken. There are more orbs that still don't do anything, and there's no way I can get to that roach.

Joker: If all else fails, plot out your route on paper. Remember to leave a three-square thickness of tar at the bottom.
RoboBob: It certainly is possible. Keep trying.

Of all the rotten luck! I completed the maze a few minutes after posting... and got stuck the rest of the time on 3s. That roach is frustrating... I can't get it stuck anywhere meaningful, so I can't reverse direction, so I can't jam it into the snake's spiral... <.< >.> >.<

Ah well. This is an AWESOME hold, though. It feels like a sidestory to Dugan's... it's challenging, and uses many elements, but it's not extremely frustrating.

Damn. I've just received a PM alerting me to another error: thanks to another naughty "room required" checkbox, the blue door on level 3 won't open. I'll change the download in a moment: those who have made significant progress on level 3, sorry. If you want, PM me and I'll send an anyone edit version. There's more than just stairs beyond that blue door, so you might want to see it.
