icon Wire (0)
Almost exactly like a bomb fuse, except it connects to orbs and activates them when the charge hits.

What do you think?

Nifty! I was thinking of something for orbs but once again you beat me to the punch. This could result in some fairly awesome puzzles. If wire connects two orbs and one is triggered would the wire start? I think yes, but it's up to you. Also, if 2 wires hit an orb at the same time is it toggled twice? Again, I think yes.

I can just picture Beethro running around trying to figure out which wire to gut before it hits the orbs and seals him in a room... FOREVER! MWAHAHHA!

An alternative would be "Beethro races the wire through a monster-infested passageway". That would be good too.

Yes, wires can be connected.

And I like the "race the charge" idea.

Are wires reusable?

I think so, but they probably won't be if they're used. Unless someone is willing to sit and write code that merges simultanious charges, we could have, say, 9 orbs in a square all connected by wire like so:

O-O-O
| | |
O-O-O
| | |
O-O-O
where O is an orb and - is wire. That would cause nasty loops and such if wire is permant.

Actually, the wire should probably be permanent. The above example is a great timer.

Ok.

A brother suggestion:

Underground wire

Wire, except cannot be cut.

Then how do you set the charge?

You step on a wire... don't you?

This way you can cross wires without cutting them.

OH! You think this REPLACES your suggestion... nope, this is another form of wire. The two can attach to each other.

Yeah, but this is simply for purposes of going over the wire.

Aside from that little side suggestion everything is perfect.
