While i was playing Wonderquest, the player was moving to a next room when electricity went off.

Now when i try to play the game, i click "Fight", but i couldn't play a game.
There comes a popup: Error reading player file.

When clicking "Restore" popup says: Bad secret file.

I have already started over 7 times, and i don't want to start over to get back to lvl 12 in Master Orion.

Could someone fix the files if i'll link them here?

Note: I haven't opened or changed the files in any way.

"When clicking "Restore" popup says: Bad secret file."

The "secret" file is a filename that keeps track of your secret room's progress. Don't worry, the computer is not trying to hide anything from you, being mysterious.

What you can do is:

1) Backup your player's folder (very important)
2) Delete secret.dat file. (by doing this, you'll have your secrets progress restarted).

This may work.

I haven't backed up anything ever. How to do this?

You only need to backup in this case.

Go to: WQfolder\Players

And make a copy of your player name's folder.

I can't find Secret.dat file.

So, try to delete: "Statistics.dat" after backing up.

I did this, but i have lost my quest, but i can continue by going straight to exit, because it's open.

I didn't conquer any room.

Map doesn't show rooms properly.

Maybe a bug?

That's pretty odd.
What if you restore from the beginning of the level?

If i do it, i don't see the entrance.

I see the blinking gate (maybe a exit gate?) and blinking dot.

I can take a screenshot for proving.

The files are probably corrupt.

I'm attaching an old player file here.
Just unzip it to your player's folder.
