I realised that it's possible to pass a room border on a raft, only problem is that the raft dissapears, and you stand there with the archer, potentially in the middle of the ocean.

Yes, that's correct. It's up to the artist to place a raft in the other room to prevent this from occurring.

Rooms that use the Archer's special, require special attention.
All the borders should be protected with rays to avoid this trap.

You can kill a character of without dying. To direct a ray into a planted bomb is a big bug potential. Look at the folowing picture: If I move S with Lucas the aborgine dies, but the game lets me continue playing.
