I used the two decoys in the other parts of the room.

When mimic & Beethro are at the bottom of their respective zones, I need only one push up on the spider to get to the golem.
So I drop the trapdoor, go up twice so the mimic enters the NW area.
Then I need to go down twice so Beethro gets to the bottom of his area to get the full span of movement up.
But then I'm too late to get to the spider before it's hit the east wall.
Once the spider is on the east wall, I can't find a way to push on it.

I obviously must be wrong somewhere, but I don't see which one is wrong.

Your first two assumptions are correct.

I'm stuck in the area around the second goblin myself. At the moment, I put the first decoy at (30,25) with sword facing SE. This does allow me to kill the eye and move back up, but I need to leave the orange area when the mimic steps on (31,19), and I cannot figure out how to use the second goblin to gain an extra step north.

As far as I can tell, there's no other way to put that decoy, and I need the second decoy later on in the room. So, I suppose there's a way to quickly get in the goblin's way, but I fail to see how... Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I am totally baffled, I do not know where to lace either mimic, I can do the SE corner ok and kill the eye and get into the NE section, her I really struggle because I am one square too low to go ant further. I have tried the mimic in all the places i can think o to lure the golem to a place to help me, but none of them work.

The las person said they put mimic at 30,25 but I dont need any help down there.

Can anybody help please?

First, some terminology, so we're all talking about the same thing:

mimic: blue guy that you can move around, doesn't attract monsters; from blue potion
decoy: colorless guy that stays put and attracts monsters; from orange potion
goblin: green monster, can move around some obstacles (in NE part of this room and in S part of this room)
golem: orange monster, doesn't move around obstacles (in NW part of this room)

In this room, your challenge is to move the mimic from the goblin in the south to the golem in the northwest part of the room. To make the mimic progress, you need to push it against various obstacles. These can be pit edges, decoys, decoy swords, or even monsters.

In the NE part of the room, the goblin is obstacle you push the mimic against.

I can't figure out how to use the mimic at 30,25 to get out of that area without going into the "grass"
