×Start with the sword facing north. Move north until you pass the corridor walls (only by one square) and the roaches spill over the corridor sides. Retreat one square back. You should now have one roach to either side of you as well as a few more further off. Since you move before monsters do, move diagonally in such a way to move your sword over a roach, either Southwest or Southeast. Now repeat for the other roach. This is the backswipe technique, which you will need to use to complete the room.
