Arg... I'm getting absolutely no where on the room.
What I think I need to do:

Well I for my self also can not even begin to get started in this room.

My assumptions:

No matter what, the red doors must be dropped pretty quickly, and the only way to drop them is by using the mimics.

However, I can not even drop the first pair of doors because the snake is too long .

My best shot seems to step on the mimic + pressure plate at turn 29 (befor this the snakes tail prevents mimic placement)
placeing the mimic at 12,13.

Then I need to move NE twice to let the mimic drop the first pair of doors , but I can move only once before being stuck by the snakes head !

what did I miss ????

Edit :

OK , I got resourcefull (but lazy) and found Jutts intended solution demo on the architecture forum. It is indeed quite a devious one ....

Well, you're supposed to cut the adder with the mimic while you're running towards the other pressure plate.

Anyway, if you're having further problems with this room (or other rooms in this hold) you might want to take a peek at the thread in Architecture about it...

I've been doing this and I keep coming up one move short. Not sure if my approach is completely off or what.
