I must be missing something - I can't get the ball to hit the switch plate - fire kills it. I also can't do it myself. What am not doing??????

Fire might kill the ball, but it will still hit the orb on the same turn it dies.

Thank you - I had not seen fire explode a ball before AND activate the switch at the same time up 'til now.
