I just noticed - if I rename a post, it doesn't change on the "Find today's active posts" list. Is this intentional? Does it change at the beginning of the next day?

You should post things like this in sites not bugs. Bugs is for bugs in the game not forum bugs.

Can you make this bug occur and let me know where the post is in the "Find today's posts" list? The list is created upon request, not at timed intervals, and if you edit a post the old title is gone - I don't know how this could happen.

All right, I'm changing the name of this thread. I'm making this post before I change it though, so it should still show under the old name.

In case you forget, the "old" name was "Re: Renaming Posts".

Hey! the replies also stay with the same old name, but new posts are okay.

Other posts shouldn't have their subjects changed - look at this post for example. Since each post can have any arbitrary subject, I'm not going to go through and change them to fit the new subject that the original poster changed to - there's just no point.

If there was a way to program that.....

Oh well. It doesn't make that much difference, but I think it would be a lot more convenient and less confusing if people couldn't change the names of replies.

Still, what about if I change the name of the thread? Is that going to change?

To program what? To make it so that renaming the first post renames the rest too? That's not too complicated, but I just don't see the point.

Why? Because of the "View today's posts" thing? The easy solution would be to show the first post's subject instead of the child post's subject in that list.
Still, what about if I change the name of the thread? Is that going to change?
No.

No.

I think you misunderstood me. If not, oh well.....

What I meant was, "Will the name of my post shown under Today's Active Posts be changed if I change its name?

Oh - in that case, yes, of course it will since the old subject for that post is gone forever.
