OK, I was testing Deep Hold XVII, and I found something strange. If I am holding off a large group of goblins, the few at the back will stay and move about near a scroll on the other side of the room and won't move from there until I come within 10 squares or so.

silly question: did you test this again without a scroll there, to make sure that's what's causing it?

I don't understand the part about the scroll -- are you saying that the scroll is inciting the strange behavior, and without the scroll the goblins act normally?

I've noticed occasionally that goblins will not come for you even when there is a clear path and a brain. Has anyone tried the "Moria" hold on the "Balin's tomb" level? That's where I first saw this.

I remember that. In Deep Hold, that happens too but only around scrolls and two or three at a time.
