I have been playing ST2 for about 2 weeks now and I've completed about 40 levels, but some are giving me problems.

Avoid - is there a trick to getting over the motion fields to the save icon? if so please share.
Theme and variations - how the heck do you get past the first obsticle? every time I drop the rock I get blown up.
Firewall - I know there is a trick to turning the lasers on/off jus the right way but dang if I've got a clue.
Kill Bill - how do I get to the next chamber?
My Cup runneth over - is there a trick to getting gems? every time I play it all I get is a cracked wall.
Walled up - how do you get the 2nd bomb to explode so you can go to the next chamber?
Subterra forever - I get stuck when I get the red, yellow and first green key - how do I get to the white door to unlock it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

×I'm assuming you mean the lower left hand corner. Well, you just have to manoeuvre it right. Use the starting three spaces in that room to your advantage.

Ok, I managed to get through Theme & Variations, Walled Up, and Subterra Forever and have managed to beat a total of 48 levels but I'm still stuck on the following:


Firewall - *SOLVED - FINALLY*

Electric Boogie - any tip would be helpful, I can't seem to just find the right combination/sequence of switches to open the pathway.

What is the deal with My Cup Runneth over? All I end up getting is a cracked brick wall and no way to break it?

I'm having trouble with Firewall, and I don't think I've come across the other levels you mentioned. Oh, Avoid. Me hatez. Kill Bill had a sneaky trick with the first bit, and I couldn't find how to do the rock-conveyer bit... Or was that another level? I have not been playing either Subterra for a while so my memory of it could improve if I start again.

Is there a trick to keep the 'boxes' from moving so fast? I can't get them stopped before the hit the wall, rendering them unusable.

They probably just ran around pressing random switches until they found a path. That's what I did, anyway.

I finally got thru Firewall, I happened to hit upon the correct combination of switches finally. I've upped the completed level count to 54 but I'm still stumped by some of the levels - still by My Cup Runneth Over (if anyone has a hint on how to get gems please pass it along), and I'm still trying to figure out Electric Boogie, that combination of switches is confusing.

There a few others that are taxing my brain but I've kinda gone back to Subterra for a while and am having some better luck there. I'm up to 50 completed levels on Subterra Prime and about half of the Zoso & Issy (sp) levels are completed, as well as some about 10 levels of push-it puzzles.

as I have completed all but "Kick before you stick"(the one in the bottom right-hand corner. I didn't have the patients)on easy, and all but 6 others on hard, I suppose I should help out .


the trick to "My Cup Runneth Over" is that when you trap slime so it cant move, it turns into diamonds.
so all you've got to do is find out how much room you've got to let the slime fill.
remember, if you let it go too far, it turns into CW!!!

Right now, I'm stuck on Devilish Puzzles, Eye Queue Tree, Overflow, and Welcome to the Moscow Subway.

Devilish Puzzles - The only part I'm having trouble with is the part after the easy mode exit, with all the rocks and dirt (and the ST icons). The part where there is a rock column 3x4 tiles large is where I'm stuck, as I cannot figure out how to get past it.

Eye Queue Tree - I'd prefer not to have the answers spoiled, if possible. Instead, here are my answers, and if possible, I would like to know which ones are incorrect.


Overflow - If possible, I would like to know any tips for level. I figure that I somehow have to crush as many rocks as possible with the granite ones.

Welcome to the Moscow Subway - I figured out the order you have to do things in the level, but I am stuck on the last part, where you have to collect a key for the exit. Now, I'm not sure how to do it, but I think that I am supposed to destroy the laser with a balloon, bridge the gap with a rock, and then roll the other rock over it.

ok, let me think.

Devilish puzzles:
I've only actually completed this level once, and that was just before my PC died, so I lost the replay.
If I remember correctly, I did that bit very fast and it all just fell into place.
maybe its all in how you prepare it, as-in how you do the bit just before it.
all I can suggest is just keep doing it - a different way each time - until you get it right.
the rest of the level is no problem, so you should only need to get it once.

Eye Queue tree:
as far as I can figure out, all your answers are correct.
but even though I once went through and made sure they were all correct, I haven't done it on Hard either.

Overflow:
A Masterpiece!
as before, I did it on hard.... but that was before my PC died as well ( You're gonna start thinking I'm a fruad, talking like that).
It is all about the granite stones, but it's not just about crushing as many rocks a possible, it's also about where you drop them and When you use them.

while I did say that the only one I hadn't finished at least on easy was "Kick Before You Stick", I had completely forgotten about this'un.
I cant help you I'm afraid.



If you can give me any tips on how to do "Kick Before You Stick" they will be appreciated.

Okay, I'll do Devilish Puzzles faster. And blame Radiant as to why I can't do Eye Queue Tree.

I figured Moscow Subway out, you just have to set up a bunch of pathways to do it in the right order. Overflow will be a nightmare :/

And regarding Kick Before You Stick, after I figured out what I had to do in each room, it generally became easy to figured how to do it.

Now unfortunately, my laptop had some kind of virus which I had to wipe my hard drive to fix. I managed to back up all my files ... except of course, ST2. It really sucks 'cuz I had 4 levels to go till legend.

Funnily enough, I'm also stuck on that bit, and I created it!
The strange thing is, when I replicate that part of the level in a new level, I can solve it, but not while inside Devilish Puzzles.
