I mentioned this in the New Hold: For the Newbies thread, and apparently no monsters are supposed to be able to be put on tar, and I was told that this was a bug fixed in the early builds of the AE. However, I was just building one of my rooms when I found out that wraithwings can still be placed on tar. I checked the other monsters, and none of them could. Unless wraithwings can fly over tar (which they can't - maybe they should...) I think this should be fixed.

Actually I found quite a bit of puzzles with them. But the problem is that you can't tell that the tar is deep or shallow. In other words you can't tell either the wraithwing is hovering above the tar or she's stuck in the tar. Since she can't move above the tar (unless you get near her and she is right on the edge of the tar) presumably she is stuck.

I think the tar goes right up to the ceiling, because otherwise all things would be able to step on it (not easily, of course, but they would). And then walls would be visible.

You can if you're not careful, I've been trapped by tar and had to restart before.

I think he means "absorbed" by the tar, not "surrounded and trapped", when he said "swallowed".

Since tar is everybody's favourite monster, ( ) why don't we get a new type of tar that *can* do that? I think there was a proposal for a few new kinds of tar, but I don't know if they were accepted.

I thought there was discussion on "white tar" and "green tar" etc. somewhere in the forum.
