Congratulations with the first challenge, Syntax!
I had an idea that such solution is possible. It was just an idea I woudn't give another thought to, because invisibility potion made the final part very obvious and easy :-) Well, here you are: 290 moves.

That's how I solved it too, sans potion. My first impression of the room was that the potion was a trap, since some pressure plates are out of smell range of the mothers, so Coordinator Guy wouldn't have been able to stand on them. Then I realized it wasn't a trap, but I figured the room would still be easier without it so that Coordinator Guy wasn't so limited about where he could stand. (Was he a mud or tar coordinator? I forget.)

He's a tar technician - as was established in the opening sequence, any room where he says anything (double-click on the portrait) and due to the fact that a mud coordinator was a minor antagonist in this level.

Nice job, all of you. This room originally did not contain a potion but I added it later to make the room a bit more forgiving. :)
