DROD features in an example of ontological arguments, as a counterexample to arguing that God exists because He is the greatest being imaginable and existence is greater than non-existence. The idea is that by the same reasoning, you can pretty much prove that anything exists so long as it's awesome.

Of course, DROD does in fact exist, and it is awesome.

But what if existence does not exist at all? Then even if something was greater than non-existence how would it cross into the realm of a non-existent existence?

You all must remember that in the mid to late 20th century there was an inclination to subjective distortion to point out the evanescence of the social world of the nineteenth-century bourgeoisie (Barth, The Literature of Exhaustion). This presents time chronologically as a time looking back another time and using English that will never be part of any vernacular whatsoever just for the hell of it.

I swear, every time you guys get in a topic together it's like an episode of The Odd Couple.
