Who do i name as the killer to the fairy queen?
and what is the motive?

Try the Sherlock method.

Write down all names and start crossing off everyone who has an alibi, or who lacks a motive. And do pay attention to the method of murder, as well.

i've tried but i'm just not getting it. especially the motive. is it random each game? is that why you didn't give a straight answer? *sigh* i'm frustrated. please help.

No, it's not random.
To find the motive, talk to everybody and pay attention to what they say. Of course, several people have a motive.
To find alibis, think of where people were at the time the murder took place, and whether anybody can confirm that. Of course, several people have an alibi.

Well, come on, do a little work here, it's much more satisfying that way. There's about twenty possible suspects... is there anyone in particular you suspect, or anyone who has an alibi?

Have you tried making a list of who was in the castle that evening?

For example: Amairgen returned to Havgan after dinner, and Niameh confirms that he was there, so the druid was not in the castle that evening.

They're from Celtic mythology, actually.

I'd suggest you use a notepad. Heck, the game even includes a notepad within the interface.

Don't worry, I'll figure it out. Eventually...

But I haven't really been playing it recently, as I have LeyLines to explore.

Plus I'm still working on that ST2 levelset, and completing the actual Game.
And doing ST1 too, as their is a Hall Of Fame for that.
