I am finding that I would enjoy a mailing list of the HA chat when you are submitting a hold. It is the only thing on the site that I can't get updates on by email.

Hmm...I'm not sure if this is the greatest idea in the world...some of these HA chats can get really long--we're talking 2-300 messages. Maybe even more. I really, really wouldn't want that many emails coming to me, and wouldn't want the server to be listed as a spammer either.

Perhaps a "by request" thing...but then you might as well just check the chat.

I have to give Spitemaster two big thumbs up for actually responding to the HA chat. If this new feature would make it easier for others to respond to HA chat, I'm all for it. I agree that the email notification should be by request (I wouldn't want it myself).

Or maybe get a daily email "digest" with that days observations if any for those who desire...

Another thing that would be a good idea for this would be sending out letters at the end of the day or some significant time delay for every one of the email lists. This would resolve some problems with people double posting and edits right after they were posted.
