The source code for producing the song does not store the words together in a contiguous string, but in separate strings, one per word. Because the strings are word-length , the compiler is not obligated to put them into the executable in any particular order. I don\'t know the Visual C++ compiler well enough to predict how it will arrange strings.
Some day I would like to make a program that plays songs with lyrics like that in a generalized way. I\'ve written four S3M songs with associated lyrics and it would be neat to have a little \"

player to present them. But man, I got enough projects.
In fact, I better get back to one of them right now...
