Fortunatelly, Beethro is experienced in killing all sorts of creatures, so it only takes waving the sword in their square to kill them !

In this particular case, he has to face first tar baby and simply press forward.

What if it's a side on shot? Then there's lots more tar babies!

Although I'm going to have to commandeer this at some point. We need more tar babies, dammit!

Just wondering.....

Well, you could, but it'd be really little. The picture itself is only 20 x 20, and is only one tar baby hopping off the edge of the picture, and another one hopping onto it. Its lined up right so that if you put more than one next to each other, you get the illusion of them hopping across the screen.

You could just make a larger animated gif containing several of my hopping babies, if you desire.

Hey, DiMono's post has resized! Before it each row was on the same line. Did something happen?

I'm running 1024x768 and it looks to me like there's just the right number of tar babies to fit the width. What resolution are you at?

I don't know, but your post stays at exactly the same width as all the rest.

Well, I just resized my window and watched the number of rows change, so I'm left with assuming they just loop like text, at a fixed width

I'm running 1024x768 but my browser is not maximized, so DiMono's post extends out past everyone else's in order to fit the four rows of tar babies. Actually, even when I do maximize my browser it still pokes out the side just a little bit.

Game on,

Then it sounds like you changed a setting in your browser, or the forum, or even somewhere else on your computer, since it hasn't changed for me. I have no idea what you could have done though.

B0rsuk knows !

It all depends how do you visit the forum.
If you click on forum link from drod.net website, you're going to have that menu frame to the left.

If you open forum in new window, or, like in my case, in new tab -
there's more place and everything looks ok.

B0rsuk, which forum link isn't opening in a new window?

Matt:

If I don't visit the forum directly (but click on "drod forum" link from drod.net www instead), then it's every link.

I can have the menu with bricks and forum in the same window.

I use Mozilla 1.4

Weird - I'm using Firebird 0.6 and this doesn't happen for me. It doesn't even happen in Mozilla 1.4.

It's possible that Mozilla's trying to get around the new window request by just opening it in the old window, which is how I expect they'd handle it. This would be a settings issue - maybe the Popup manager. We don't use pop-ups anywhere on the site, so you could tell it drod.net is allowed to use pop-ups.

Another idea is to refresh www.drod.net, although I'm fairly sure the newwindow link's been there for a while.

Is this happening for anyone else?

Matt

Front page, Contact: Opens in a new window, unless a window with the id "newwindow" is open (see below).
Fun Stuff: Opens within frame (no target).
Downloads: 404 within frame (links to index.htm).

You should make the targets "_blank" in stead of "newwindow". Then links will always open in a new window.

I'll switch everything over to _blank. Thanks, trick.

That's not a particularly well-designed smiley, I think - the "bottom" smiley is far too great a transition from the next stage, making the movement look not very smooth - in fact, it looked to me like the various height smilies were being dragged from right to left, rather than actually jumping.
