Is a submissions thread all that useful anyway? I imagine it'd be inspiring for people to see half-finished works.

I'd agree with mattcrampy. If someone wanted to contact you privately with their work, they could just email you.

Might be nice to have a few quotes for each hold (on the holds.php page). I don't personally use it as I have Caravel, but I understand it's a handy tool for non-Caravel users. Having review excerpts would make it feel like a film review section as printed on the back of the DVD box. Should only really add to your workload once a few people have commented on a new hold.

I'm not sure about having a whole new review section on the site though.

1) I've just read Calamarain's excellent piece and it set me wondering if the short essays from the contest about the Girl and the Golden Sword (from way back last year?) might be worthy of submission? They're not Canon if I remember rightly (mine certainly isn't) but it was a good contest which produced some good work.

2) there has also been some interesting poetry floating about in divers threads on the site. I wonder if a compilation might be appropriate one month?

Hey, everyone!

Thanks to Schik, I've been granted editing privileges on the Site Content boards. I don't nearly have as much time as I used to do, but we've got to start somewhere, right?

I'll be gradually orientating myself around the stuff that's floating around on the DROD site (and finishing TCB so I know what you're all talking about), and will try to update some of the pages as and when I get time to do so. Please let me know if there are any really important things that need editing or adding (e.g. embarrassing mistakes or seriously outdated pages).

As before, if you've got some cool stuff that you'd like put up on the site, please let us know in this thread, and we'll try to get it showcased for you at some point.

Hey, since I'm back I discovered I still have access to updating the site and I've started updating some things such as the TCB Room Styles page. If anyone else can think of anything that needs to be update before I fade into lurk mode again let me know!

Things I'm already planning on doing:

Creating "RPG Room Styles" page.
Updating Deadlies page.
Cleaning up my old articles for typos and stuff.

There's a huge backlog on the Official Contest History page. While I'm not going to demand a treatise for every single page, at least putting links to each contest page and their results would be nice.
