I made a Realtime two player DROD game! Player 1 uses the orthagonal movement keys and the counter-clockwise key. Player 2 uses the diagonal movement keys and the clockwise key. Unfortunatly there aren't enough keys for all directions, so both players can only move orthagonally.

TIP: It is much easier to asign your diagonal keys to WASD and your orthagonal keys to the arrow keys.

Have fun!

New version with multiple areas and a menu (under construction). When someone wins, the player who won gets a point!

It's still quite buggy, but I fixed a few of the bugs.

This is Real-time, though.

No it's not. It's still turn-based, except that there are two sets of conflicting inputs, and it's mostly luck whichever one gets to the computer first.

I think it still counts as real time. That's because it matters when you press the button(it isn't luck). So if you press the button before your opponoent does, you move before him. And heck, even "real time" is split into turns, even if they are infinitely small :).

[off topic] Aha, but if something is infinitely small, it is infinitely close to nothing at all, which means it is nothing and therefore doesn't exist. :? [/off topic]

Yes, but in a turn-based game you don't typically forfeit or misuse turns by accident.
