I had plans for a while about making a Subterra levelset. I do know about the level minimum and now, since the GCC (great computer crash) occured, I decided to start anew with a levelset. Recent observations show that I have less troubles with focusing on single projects! So I think I am ready for the big times. Wish me luck!

But I have a question: "Do the contest submission rules still apply for levelsets?"

What, so you're going to make a levelset of impossible levels with no red exit, no replay, no level title, no gem limit, with hint boxes containing Japanese swear words?

Pretty much, yeah. Plus I'm only going to combine your levels into your personal level set if there's a lot of them of sufficient quality.

Stew Boy: No, but I could've pretty well do a level smaller than a screen without knowing it. >_> In the Contest 2003 entry levelset, Just To Zero was a compilation of multiple small levels that were less than a screen. Of course, it was back in the demo times, where Subterra was a shareware.

Yes, but I haven't had the time to look at them extensively yet. Thanks!

Okay, here you go.

Three of your levels (Rush crate, That's no bunker, Well's bottom) don't have a valid demo. That's basically a disqualifier unless I manage to figure out the level myself (which I usually can, but don't always have time for). I suppose you could fix that easily, and they look interesting otherwise.

Spideractus is only one screen in size. I tend to shy away from such levels because they're usually not all that interesting.

Cryobird waterout, Chemistry pipes, and Breaking apart appear to be made mostly through random clicks.

Grenade bed is a gimmick level. That's not a problem per se, but it's a gimmick that's been done before. I'd advise you not to do many of this kind of level.

Explosionexpo and Firedrake labor look good.

Good luck! You'll probably need it. ;)

You know, I've been tossing around the idea of a levelset myself since at least January, possibly earlier. Maybe I'll follow suit and work on one too.

What went wrong in the three non-working demos?

Either the player has not enough gems (or not enough time) for hard mode so the demo ends up finishing easy mode - or the demo never makes it to the exit anyway. You can view your own replays in the editor and see what happens.

My demos seemed to work correctly in my version... But I will enlarge Spideractus and make three new levels then I will send them at you. This time, my demos should work just as they should be.
