Critics who point out how bad the fanfic was, resulting in an angry mob sueing, and then murdering the guy who wrote it. The fanfic was so bad, it was removed, thus the explosion happened anyway.

But because he was murdered, within a few years he's no longer seen as a bad fanfic author, but "a brilliant but tormented mind whose tremendous potential was cut short before its time by the narrowness and intolerance of society, recognized too late and beloved and missed by all." His story is retroactively placed into the canon, saving Doctor Who and also revealing his perfect love for The Master, which had been buried by their ideological diffrences for far too long.

Sadly, the TV is no longer used, for everyone is too busy playing DROD. As for the Doctor Who fanclub, it is one day crushed by a 16 ton weight while all of it's members were inside.

(slightly offtopic - yes, there is fanfic which isn't bad, some of it is thought provoking, engaging and really really well written. The trick is locating it because it's buried under so much utter crap)

Ziggy H. Bomb, however, has ordered for the building to be blown up upon any kind of muzzle flash or gunshot. The dynamite goes off and everyone dies anyway.
