I guess that after finishing DROD all your old games dissappear? I would like to replay some of the later rooms. I'm messing around with player builds and building my own for entertainment.

No, you should be able to restore all of your old games. I hate to say this, squeekie, but since you are the only one who keeps having problems like this, you must be doing something wrong. The question now is, what? As soon as you beat the game were all the old holds missing, or did you do something in the meantime?

Actually, my guess is that you need to go to the Where menu from the main screen and make sure you select King Dugan's Dungeon from the list, otherwise you won't be able to play those rooms again.

Game on,

Yep I didn't go to the "where" and click on "original games". I'm still getting used to the 1.6 version, having upgraded in level 25. Also when I created a backup folder before upgrading I named it Drod backup1.5. Now if I go to that folder and click on the exe. I can then hit restore and it contains all games I played before upgrading and it also has all my DEMO'S of the completed games.
But, after finishing DROD it did start back on the first level and if you keep playing I guess it does overwrite the level recorded before.

It should record additional demos, not replace the old ones. That's why there's a time and date on the demo so you can tell them apart. And it definitely doesn't overwrite the saved game, you can restore to any point just like always.

I'm glad that it was a simple solution but you shouldn't need two installations in order to use all your demos. But if that's the case and you're happy with it, then more power to you.

Game on,
