Hi there -- I'm curious. Has anyone figured out anything about how to help the changeling Blossom, other than the obvious one you need for the later quest? I get the hint from Taliesin that you can help him, in the end of the game -- but haven't figured out yet how.

Oof -- I figured it out, but the game glitched out ;~; It shut down when I went back to the place where his counterpart is to check on them. Is there a way around this?

I was in Chapter Five -- and yes, there was an error message. The game utterly closed to the error message.

It says (directly copied from the error message):

in Room46 script (line 121)

Error: FaceCharacter: Characters are in different rooms

Umm, that's a bit odd. Is Ruadh missing from that room, did you see? Was this while goblins had taken over the village?

That advice didn't work -- not even in the updated game. I saved the changeling after I recovered Havgan, and I still got an error message. I'm not sure what this means, but I assume it's a bug.

I'm really not sure what's causing this bug or the workaround. Did you send Ruadh off to prison? And then somehow help the changeling? That might be the reason. It hasn't been fixed in v1.1 because v1.1 was done before this bug was reported, and Radiant has gone to Canada for a week's trip, but he should fix it once he gets back.

The quest is possible to do in v1.1 though, since I tried it myself (I was nice to Ruadh and everything seemed to work fine...)

I never sent him to prison -- I took the apple and my flute from his stuff, and then poked him with the iron charm to find out what he was, then reported it to the changeling. Then went to see them in the ship after I had freed Havgan, and that was when the error occurred.

HOWEVER, in the ending of the game last time (I started a new one when 1.1 came out, having finished the one where I first rescued the changeling by simply avoiding the ship), it still gave me full credit for it, and told me about Ruadh and Blossom's 'epilogue', so to speak.

Also, how do you send him to PRISON? I hadn't heard of that.

You don't need to see them reunited to be credited for it, that is true. You can send him to prison if you


Ruadh might still be away from his home until you defeat Rashakk, possibly. The error message indicates that he is not present anyway.

I just retried -- still doesn't work even if you wait until after you defeat Rashakk, for me. I'm not sure what I did wrong, though.

EDIT: HAH! Figured it out! Thanks; it wasn't working because he, in the game, WASN'T there. I'd missed a quest. Thanks!
