Dang it!! Is there a checkpoint in these last two remaining roomns in level 24? As much as I love tar babies, I would really like to conquer these two rooms and maybe find a life somewhere, rejoin society, find a job... :~)

There is one checkpoint, yes...

There's only one route through the maze, and it's been mentioned here loads of times, but I'll repeat it in order of spoilerness...

You can use the going back and forth between rooms as kind of a checkpoint, but you might get into an unsolvable position, I can't remember for sure. Someone should really make a demo of solving these two rooms.

Well, I just beat it, and I tried to make a demo, but I kept forgetting to restart it after I died. I think that would be a good option for a future release, to allow demos that keep recording when you die...it would just start a new demo name so you can string them together correctly. It wasn't as hard as the first time I played through, because I still had a vague memory of my passage. Anyway, here's my path:

Well, there you have it. Knowing is half the battle here, because you still have to solve it, but hopefully you can do it from here. Good luck!

You shouldn't be opening up that entire space...go through the path below that one. These two rooms should be teaching you in a very hard way what kind of passageways can be traversed when there is tar in them. For a two square wide passageway, if the enclosing walls have two squares parallel, you can't get through. If only one wall is parallel you can usually maneuver yourself to get through. My pictures are pretty straightforward, I think, since some passageways should be obviously impassible.

I must say that that was the amonst the most miserable times in my short but illusterious life!! I was so happy to see that exiting 24 notice that I ran up and down the street yelling at the neighbors " Yea!" Well, I hobbled up and down with one crutch. Bring on 25. Thank you Oneiromancer, for your kind assistance. :D :) :D

I made a demo of 1s2w without even realising it. I must have hit f5 for some reason. I also have demo's of coming through to kill the tar mother in 1s1w and of getting out of 1s1w, but not of going through 1s1w to get to 1s2w. I just tried to make one but gave up after getting killed about 20 times. Still, what I have should come in handy if I am still around when anyone asks.
