Is it possible that I am the only one that cannot find the solution to clearing all the gel from the upper left quadrant? I have no problems with the other globs. I swear I have tried everything, but obviously not. Sure could use a demo.

It's a tough room. Here's a couple of hints that should be helpful. I'm assuming you have no difficulty *getting* to the last blob - it's just clearing it that's causing you problems. Well....

×You're on a premium of space with few obstacles, and as you clear the gel, you'll have even less obstacles to use to push your mimic against...

×Try and use the Gel babies to push off against when they're in helpful positions. Also, if it helps, I cleared the last gel in a roughly clockwise manner (with the exception of the last bit to the NE)

Thank you for your help, but I have no problem with manuevering. My problem is that I do not see how to clear gel without leaving a glob that cannot be cleared. I end up with a 2x2, 2x3, or 3x3. Just can't see how to avoid it.

shaped as this. Gels and tars are my favorite things. This shape seems inconsistant with normal gel action. Could you PM me your victory demo?

This room is based on Rasarus Archipelago : 2 North, 1 West (picture behind the link), and the Gel shapes are identical.

I've attached my Rasarus victory demo so you can see how the gel itself is cut - I used the same technique for this room. The key strategy is:

×Inner corners come in two varieties: the normal one where you can only attack the corner from one side, and the thin variety where you can attack from two sides. The thin variety removes a different amount of Gel than normal, and can thus change whether a piece of Gel is going to be cuttable or not. Read this article to learn more about this, especially the Guidance of Gel section.

While it seems that junglejane can finish this room, I cannot. I can clear all the gel, it's just that I can't both clear the upper bit with the trapped gel, and the lower part full of all the little babies. I have been working on this level for nearly a month now. How about showing a little love with a demo? I would be forever grateful.

Unlike the Rasarus Archipelago room, the black sister gates that go up when you've cleared all the gel are useful in this room. Let's say you've cleared all the gel and all the babies from the south part of the room...

I was determined to finish this room on my own but despite countless hours and great determination I can't get the mimic to travel to the top of the room. Sometimes I get as far as 5 but no further. Can someone please help me so I can move on?

Remember you have plenty of room to

So if you can get to 5, 6 shouldn't be a problem.

Well I see that it's a number of days since you wrote to help me—thank you—and I'm still no further forward. I have persevered and can get to 6 but no way I can get to 7. And I can only do this if I leave some gel babies behind in the SW corner. I shudder when I think of going back down after I've dealt with the top ones—if I ever get to the top ones. Please have pity on me and tell me what to do. I'll be your friend for life.

This is my last room in the hold, and I can't get it. I can clear each of the blobs, but not all together; I always get stranded too far away. Could someone please tell me the right order to cleat the blobs, and where Beethro should be when I start?

Similar problem here. I can destroy the gel only in this direction:But then I can't get to the gel babies that are in the southern part. So I guess that I shouldNo success here, either; I can only destroy the two northern blobs, and after that I can't get to the central one, not even mentioning the SE one.

I started with the blob, then cleared then then followed by This left a lot of babies at the bottom, as well as the two in the nook at the top. It took a lot of manoeuvring, even after the black gates rose, to get them all, which is why the room took me almost 1000 moves. Part of the trick is It is difficult to explain this in detail; I could post my inefficient demo if it would help.

The room is possible, just a bit tedious. Patience, and keep trying; you should get it eventually.
