I open the top 2 doors and kill the tar but cant get through the black gate to kill the roach.

I am completely stuck. I used the mimic to clear the west side of the room. I know that I am supposed to finish off the mud while standing on the black trap door but it seems impossible to get there and still be able to do that. Also, I cannot bring the mimic back into the section in the east.

Firstly can someone please tell me where I can find hints for secret rooms as they do not appear in the usual area.
Secvons, a link or the above requested directions would be great. I am having trouble figuring out how to kill the last 2x2 mud in the SW corner.

If you upload your progress to CaravelNet, then you will be able to see these rooms in the H&S map. You should have a trial month of it if you bought TCB (I think they still do that, anyway). If you can't do that, there's a workaround - use the forum search to search for the name of the level in this board, and it will return all the threads for rooms anyone has asked about.

I got to this point without killing any Dugandy guards and it seems I got some conditional dialogue. Does anyone have the dialogue that occurs when you had killed Dugandy guards?

The dialogue then continues as in the no-guards-killed version, from "And why are you conversing with goblins, anyway?" onwards.
