This is a hold I made to introduce people to fegundos. I think it is a pretty good tutorial. It is quite easy though.

I've finished this hold.

I thought it was a pretty good hold. Easy but good.

However, I thought that the fegundos were usually useless. I usually found it a lot easier just to blow every single one up.

Nice tutorial!

I really liked the layout. It was very clean and straightforward. I also liked how you had the tutorial followed by easy then harder puzzles.

I find this statement utterly mysterious. Given that on three of the five levels you're trapped behind a green door with only the fegundos to use, and that the remaining two levels have a number of rooms that have monsters that you can't kill without using the fegundos (because you're behind a green door, you're swordless, the monsters are behind force arrows, etc.), I have no idea how you can find the fegundos "usually useless". For perhaps 3/4 of the rooms, they're utterly necessary.

Generally I liked the hold. There was the occasional mystifying element (why is there a platform in 5:4S?) or room (isn't 5:3S kind of trivial?), but mostly I found it quite interesting. Some of that was from the optimizer's perspective--i.e., "what's the best use I can make of these things?" But fun in any case.

After a break from DRODing I finished this hold after taking a quick peek at H&S board. It was pretty easy and highly enjoyable, at least for me. I liked not having to spend weeks on one room as I didn't have much time lately to play it.

Excellent progression in difficulty, good practice in Fegundo manipulation. I feel I am by no means an expert but at least I'm comfortable with the basic operation of Fegundo (not too hard to understand anyway). Some interesting introductions to puzzles that could use them so I felt it was well worth my time to try various techniques in each room.

I'm sure one could design some nasty ones like, killing off spawning roaches behind force arrows while you fly a Fegundo through obstacles to the gate that lets you in to kill the queen, sort of puzzles.
