I don't see that anyone has requested help on this room before, and I'm a little surprised. All I've managed to do is maneuver four of the roach queens (the ones that aren't in the far north and far south cells) into advantageous positions (as far east as possible, near the doors of their cells) and then use the platforms to go east and lure those four queens out of their cells so I could kill them.

I'm still sitting here with six cells that have roaches, and two of those cells still have roach queens too. And I can't get the goblins out of their cells either. Help!

Try propping the cell doors open with something... then you can walk right up to the monsters and kill them.

So, for the challenge - "Don't move from east to west in the platform area" - what's the important thing? Never moving a *platform* from east to west, or never moving Beethro from east to west even on a stationary platform?

Once you've stepped in column 22, you have to go through a tunnel before stepping in column 17. Don't ask how I know the exact numbers.

Hah. In that case I did it in a technically unnecessarily complicated way, what with "never ever hit 1, 4 or 7 to move Beethro W, NW or SW, from the moment of stepping onto a platform on the west side until stepping off the platform onto the eastern side"... But I made it :-)

Oh wow, that's a lot more lenient than I thought. My solution had me step east onto/off of platforms a couple times and I came to ask the precise meaning of the challenge because I wasn't sure why it popped.
