Maybe I'm the only one here with a colour
recognition deficiency, but I spent a couple
of days in the forums before I realised there
were embedded links. The colours were just
too similar for me to notice; only because one
was explicitly spelled out (i. e. "http:...." )
did I recognize it. Perhaps it would be considered
to change the colour, or am I the only one with
this problem?

I think he meant the links in the forum. Which yeah, I can understand - they're almost the same as normal text. If you want to fiddle with the forum link colors, feel free - they're in the admin page.

No, there's still the blue-on-blue problem. Sure, you could manually change the link colors, like this, but that's a pain, isn't it?

I already did - if you'll notice, it's a sort of sickly blue (whoa...) colour now.

I've been looking for an excuse to use the admin page for months now, and changing the site board's description to include 'worship the greatness that are your webmasters' seemed too childish.

Perhaps I should change the visited link colours as well, but it doesn't seem as much of an issue. Then again, I'm in Konqueror at the moment, so I'm not trusting anything I see until the bandit smilie stops being white.

If anything, the links are less readable now IMO.

I think they need to be something that's not blue - dark red or green, for instance. You'll lose some aesthetic appeal, but it will be a lot more useful.
