I'm discontinuing this project until Mike catches up with all the bugs.

It's just temperarily until the bugs in 3.0.2 rev2 are fixed. We are not just discontinuing the project.

Gah! Am I the only one that gets frozen about halfway through importing data?

Edit: I'll try the patch... Nope, still broken... Oh looky, it broke through. No more breaky... But still problems... Could somebody please fix that dinging? And the crash?

And I got rid of the patch which deleted all scripting in the entire hold...

I'm back working on it again! I remade the battle system, now it's completely controlled with questions!!!

a few things:

Changes: Remade the Battle system using questions, it's pretty good, but there still are some bugs in it. Apart from that, it works fine! the damage system works, the attack and defend options work, there is still that old "run" bug, but I think I've got an idea on how to fix it.

Bugs and Things to do:

-The healthbars; as far as I know, the Beethro Healthbar works fine, but the monster healthbar doesn't work at all.
Finally fixed!!!
-I still have to do the semi-random extra damage, so right now, every damage amount stays the same. This will change in the future.

-When you defeat an enemy, and press wait twice, you go back to the room you came from. If you do this too fast, you won't see the amount of experience and grekles you've earned. You still get them though.
Probably unfixable, this will be kept in the game
-only the roach queen in the entrance room is connected to the new battle room. I didn't modified the other monsters yet.
Fixed
-I accidentaly made this in my own player file, instead of the RPG player file. The custom images are there, but if you modify it in your own player file - this also counts with the RPG player file - the custom images will be deleted
Fixed!!!
-the potions and the bombs don't have limits yet, this will be fixed in the near future.

-The "run" option doesn't work.
Fixed!!!
-There is a problem with the damage and the resistance.
Fixed!!!

It's done now, I fixed all the bugs from version 6, I tested it myself and it looks good.

Changes:
-All the bugs are fixed now.
-it is now only about 600 Kb big, the last version was about 2.5 Mb big, so it's much smaller now, even though I don't know what I did to make it that much smaller.
-I've implemented a "boss battle" level, it doesn't differ much from the normal battle level, only that the "run" option became a "give in" option.

EDIT: though the filename of the hold is the same, the hold attached to this post is really the fixed version.

EDIT AGAIN: I should have known something went wrong, the bomb option doesn't work due to a bad placed "go to" command, also, all the custom sounds we used are somehow deleted. I'll fix these things for the next version.

I've fixed the latest bugs, and I'll post the fixed RPG here

Changes and bug fixes:

-Boss battles, I've changed the run option to "give in". It works now.
-fixed the bomb bug, it was just a wrong placed "go to" command, and I deleted that command. it works fine now.
-I changed the way to go to the cheat room. I did that because I don't have the custom image for that floor.
I changed the way the shop and the healing point looks like. This can always be changed in the future, but I like the way they look now.

The -19 damage is probably because the random numbers can become negative numbers. I'll try to fix that.

About the goblins, do you use version 6? It could be that you have a version where the goblins aren't modified yet.

EDIT: About the goblins, in the first rooms you encounter Goblins, there is one who doesn't set a monstertype upon touching it.
