I've just noticed that the challenge section on the website now pulls the challenges from the forum - I never saw this announced, though I might have missed it in one of the news posts.

Anyway, a lot of people don't post challenges in the correct format and those don't show up there - I really think that people should go back and clean up their challenges otherwise they'll be buried deep in the forum for posterity (for example, the very first forum challenges posted by Zex don't appear).

In case people are wondering, here's how you make challenges show up in the preferred format:

<challenge>Your challenge here</challenge>, of course replacing the angle brackets with [ and ]. The challenge tag seems to be applied last, which is annoying.

Note this is also in the forum FAQ, which you'll probably see in about a week.

Having previewed a bunch of fake challenges, other tags inside the challenge are interpreted before the challenge itself, as is a carriage return (the enter key).

Except since this is the expected behaviour, why is it inconvenient at all?

Challenge is interpreted after leftbracket and rightbracket, so when challenge gets some brackets around it via completion of the UBBL script, it will then go and make it into a challenge, which is pointless because that's not your intention.
