I can separate them but once separated, I can't figure out how to lure one by itself onto the hot tile for 2 turns. If I try to use both golems, then one will get burned up, but the remaining one is right next to me and I can't escape.
I'll eventually figure it out; this is just a post of frustration, though a moderate tidbit of information wouldn't go unappreciated.

I can't get the southern part.
I can make the golem teeter between the north and west side of the block, but I've never gotten him to the east.

Any hints?

If you post a demo of your best attempt, I'd be more than happy to watch it and help you adjust your strategy.

My guess is that you don't have a lot of experience with rock golem movements. They don't move the same as roaches.

A roach would move towards Beethro in a situation like this: (B = Beethro, # = wall, R = roach)

. . . . R moving
B # # #

A golem would not move in the same situation because Beethro is not directly in its line of sight: (G = golem)

. . . . G stopped
B # # #

In this room, you take advantage of golem movement rules to park them in the right places.

Yeah, well... I do trust my Austrian to be better than Merriam-Webster's German... and we do call plums "Zwetschgen" here... :D

Demo files need to be opened with DROD.

Instructions:
1. Click on the blue file name of the demo (a few posts up), and save it to your computer.
2. In DROD, go to the room you're having trouble with.
3. Press F6.
4. Press Import.
5. Choose the file you just downloaded.
6. Press Watch.

Also, Demos don't work for me for some weird reason. I import them... Oh wait, it's because I don't have the full version. Can someone post a demo demo?

Right. Stuck. Demos don't work (they claim to be made for a more recent version of Drod despite there being *no* more recent versions for Linux and the windows one I tried in desperation being patched up to the eyeballs...)

Managed to kill Golem #1 on the burning plate at the top-left. Golem #2 is still in the top room at 23,9 and I'm on the save point at 25,17.

My best efforts so far have been unable to lure the golem down into the corridor. I *did* manage to get the both down there at one point but I can't remember how I did it.

I'm working my way through the demo wondering just how much of my life the full version will cost me. I'm suspecting a lot, but that's not a bad return on the investment and it'll at least mean I can see the screenshots and run the demos...

Anyone able to give me a pointer? eBeer for any help!

I can't seem to see those "holds" (get that list of reasons why it doesn't show instead), but a general hint would be that you shouldn't think too far inside the box.
