er. to be less flippant: hit F6 to get the demo management screen
for the room you're in(*) (you can't view demos for rooms you haven't been to yet).
you can 'import' .demo files you've downloaded from the forum to view them.
you can't download conquer demos through the game interface unless you're a caravelnet member and have conquered the room yourself.

(*) techincally, you can view demos for other rooms on the same level, provided you've visited them, by click "
view all demos on this level"
and then clicking a demo from a different room. this effectively changes the room whose demos you are managing, without having to change what room your character is in. but still only applies to rooms you've visited.
