Although I didn't think it was actually going to be released on April 1st. But now I've updated my CaravelNet and the download is at 38 percent. Wait, 42....43...

So, can someone tell me if imported player files on TCB retain saves and demos from holds that aren't currently in the list? I can't remember if that's been mentioned anywhere or not, and the search dialog isn't helping.

When you create a player file, DROD gives it a unique ID. If you import a player that matches the ID of one already installed, then DROD will merge the two files. SO yes, importing the same file again will update with progress from all newly installed holds and nothing else.

Of course, you can also just make a backup of your DROD data folders prior to actually doing that to be totally sure... ;)

Except that the "Export saves" step is unnecessary, as your saves are included in the player file.

Note however that that way you'll lose all the demos you had downloaded.

To not lose the demos it's enough to import your player export from JtRH, download all holds, then import your player again. You can actually import your export from JtRH as often as you'd like, as it's merged with your existing player.
