Thanks for the walkthrough. I just noticed that it was is in room tips area at drod.net.
I hope that this doesn't come out wrong, but it probably will as I put my foot in my mouth quite often. But I believe in the saying " say what you mean and mean what you say ".
The saying also " there's a fine line between genius and insanity ". I think that the developers of DROD are pure genius and after doing level 13 I see the line I refered to of insanity. I say this with all respect to all involved in this wonderfully insane game.

We were insane when we made level thirteen. One huge maze like that is enough for all space and time. We won't repeat such a feat, unless there is a magnificent reason to plunge once again into that madness!

Is it true that there is no room 2N2W in level 13? I am in the process of printing all the rooms out and making one jpg of the maze.

Yes, it is inaccessible, although not intentionally - the paths just all loop round to each other.

for mazes ? I couldn't wait to test it on Level13, and, unfortunatelly, it's vulnerable ! It wasn't necessary to mark my way, think, care where I am and what I see. Simply use the trick.

Careful...

This rule only works for mazes like Erik's with defined walls and paths.

It will certainly not work in Bavato's Dungeon Level 5.

Quite right. Islands are easier to navigate because two potentially different routes are actually reduced to one, because they have the same result.

Besides, LHR doesn't work for level 13 because of the three-way door in Twice West, so if you think it worked it's because you're bad at applying it :P

I would stick something like it in a hold, but I'm far too good at making mazes really hard. I don't think it would be solvable without the aid of a computer... wait...

Really. I just made the top level of a hold, and accidentally made an insidious room. I don't even have to try to make things hard.
