When searching, is there an option to only see one hit for each thread, rather than one for each post in a thread? That's probably the single biggest problem I have with the forum search.

And of course, if there isn't, consider this a feature request.

If implemented, I would definitely want it to be an option instead of a requirement due to some of the extremely long threads that are worth searching through and returning an exact post instead of the entire thread. Other than that I think it's a decent idea; I didn't recall it being asked before but I'm not surprised. Actually it only really bothers me when I search by topic name and it returns every post in the topic instead of when I search by message body.

To be fair... where has this actually been suggested before? I think it's a great idea (and a new one if I remember right).
