Ok, so none of Vittro's pictures are actually funny (except invisible bike, which caused me to smirk the very first time I saw it a while back), but for most of them I get the intended point or at least can recognize it as an in-joke I'm not party to.

But can someone explain to me what is even remotely amusing about a picture of pasta with a right-click context menu over it?

The walrus with the bucket reminds me of an (almost) legendary message board member called Bucket. And he had that picture as his avatar. You could question his sanity, but you couldn't deny his extremely good texturing skills and the strange irony that he campaigns for proper English used on forums with, "I has a Bucket" in neon pink as an avatar.
