I'm surprised you only got a "little instability" connecting to the site considering 1.5 million people in the seattle area lost power thursday night and most still didn't have it 24 hours later, and a lot still don't have it 45 hours later.

Well, even though whois tells us that Erik lives in Seattle, doing a whois on the server's address tells us that the hosting company is in Texas...

That might explain things, don't you think?

If memory serves, it was Erik who took it for the bike ride. He got it out of his basement, which strictly speaking isn't in Washington, and I believe it's been moved since then.
