So I was attempting to quote reply the 2nd post by Mattcrampy in the Holds Al Dente submission topic, and got the likely expected error message:

ERROR!
You can't quote any message in a Submission Topic other than the first one or your own post.

In general, it should be the case that we cannot quote message we cannot read. However, I think it should be possible to quote a message that we can see, which would include our own posts, and the thread-starter's posts.

Possible?

True, but there are many more importaint bugs pertaining to submission topics than that one.

I wouldn't really call this a bug - more of a request. And I realize it is very un-important, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be mentioned.
