ok i'm pretty sher(MY GOD I CAN'T SPELL!!!) that i didn't see any posts on this room(that would help(but i could be rong(MY GOD again)))

i've tried to clear each part before hitting the switch, i've tried hiting the switch after Tmom blinks and i still die!!

But where do you die? It seems like you know what you need to do, you just need to practice it. One tip is to remember not to strike the switch until the turn after the mother blinks. Other than that, note that there is a checkpoint in the middle of the upper section of tar.

It takes me FOREVER to clear most of the tar in the 2nd qouridoor(i stiil ca'nt spell)
and even if i clear it out the "qouridoor" the enterence is blocked off
[GAME OVER!]

If you follow Oneiro's advice, it should get you past this problem. Do not hit the orb when the mother's eyes are closed. Clear out all of the tar in every section you can before you hit the orb. Do not let the tar grow in the passage you came in. If it does, get rid of it immediately.

i can't clean the tar in the second section fast enough to get to the orb, open the gate, make a mad dash down left corridor and get back to second section before tar closes me out. I go round and round second section clearing tar and never getting anywhere. been stuck here for weeks, the last room I need on this level

You have to totally clear each section before starting on the next one. Don't try and go down the left side before you have cleared the second section.

Try to only let the tar grow in such a way that it grows slower than the rate you destroy it at.

For the second section specifically...

I do remember this being the room that ticked me off the most, just because of how tedious it all is. Thanks for the save point, Erik!

As others have said, mostly this room just takes lots of patience.
