Everyone loves high score oddities. :)

At the moment, the scores for the Entrance have Syntax in 1st place, then silver 5th with no-one in between. Syntax's score isn't verified yet.

when I click that link, it shows Syntax at 1 and myself at 2. extra odd.

me too now. Syntax's is also now verified, so presumably that was what was causing it.

maybe, but my score was verified over 48 hours ago, so I don't understand how his unverified score could push me below 2, unless he submitted 4 demos (all better than mine) before even one of them was verified.

That's possible. The to-be-checked symbol was there for at least an hour after I first noticed it.

Yep, that's exactly what happened, I just recreated the bug.

Edit: Oh yea, it's on Beethro's Mission: Spiders : Fifth Level, 2 North 1 East if anyone wants to look real quick.

Oh, yeah, I do that a lot. Sorry. But see, I do it in order to try and prevent the following from happening, often in vain:

Initial situation:
1. michthro
2. Rabscuttle
3. Syntax
4. wallu

Subsequent situation.
1. Rabscuttle
2. michthro
3. Syntax
4. wallu

So it's all Rabscuttle's fault.

I find that the subsequent situation usually ends up being only a temporary fix.

For the record, I did post a number of #1s trying to improve my score. Looks like it didn't stop michthro from nuking my best attempt though
