Right now, there is really no way to easily or quickly go to a specific user's profile. I find the easiest way is to click on "Search" at the top, type in the user's name, and click on their name when the page comes up. However, it seems to me like this is quite a lot of excess computations in finding an entire list (or at least the most recent several - how every many are on a page) of a user's posts just to get to their profile.

What I would request is to have a box on the member's list page in which you can search for a specific user. It can either link directly to that profile (requiring it to be typed in exactly), or return a list of names that begin with what was typed in (either would be fine by me).

Possible? Likely? Stupid? <adjective>?

If you are on the forum and not looking at one of their posts, you can click on Profile under the CaravalNet forum banner, and then replace your name in the url with theirs.

Indeed - but that seems sort of like a hack-around to me.
