It's quite easy to get yourself stuck and have to restart in several spots. There is also at least one place where there is a secret room you must solve to reach other, required, rooms.

This seems to not be a very well put-together hold.

I'm not sure this one had enough time in Architecture. In fact, I'm not actually sure it had any time at *all* in Architecture, at least not in a bug-killing sense.

You know you've got an unintended solution when the high scores for the room are "17, 17, 17, 17, 223, 395..." (Which is to say: yes, there's at least one room that could have benefited from some playtesting.)

...is it me, or is it unconquerable? (i.e. can't get past the maze in the west side of "the empire" because you can't get to 2N1W, which is required)

edit: unless you go to the warp room, in which case you can get to the last level, but you can't "play through" to conquer, nor get the last 3 rooms. sigh.

Well it is my first hold and I can't make master puzzles or make my hold perfect in one try. And I got my good edited one i'll send it right over!

No - don't attach the updated hold file. Go to your profile, choose "my holds", and use the update form found there. Or no-one with caravelnet can use the new version.

I downloaded the update. apparently, "king goblin's territory" 2N1W is no longer passable to the north. I can restore beyond it, but it's pretty unplayable from a fresh start.

also, did you obtain permission from Erik and/or CaravelGames to use their copyrighted map image in "Slayer's territory" 3E?

if only you had noticed this, too.

the hold is currently unconquerable because you can't even get to the warp room anymore if you start from the beginning.

here's a hint: before you upload your hold, play it through from start to finish. if you can't, don't upload your hold.

I have downloaded the latest update and completed the hold. It shows 100% in my list of holds. But I don't remember any warp room.

did you start a new, fresh game? I can't get past the third level (in the latest version).

entrance and 1S are empty. in 2N the only exit is N, in 3N, the only exit is SW (back to 2N, where you go W)

in 2N1W, halph opens the 3 doors on the right, and you have a switch to open the 4 doors on the left, but the only orb that opens the north exit is behind the door that blocks the north exit.
so you go west, and conquer that, but all you can do there is return to 2N1W... where you're stuck.

this actually was NOT the case when the hold was originally uploaded, it appeared after the first update and remained after the second.

My bad.

I thought we were talking about the blue gates not dropping in a later level (they drop now).

In the third level I had to restore past that yellow gate that can't be opened by Halph or from the bottom side by Beethro.

Problem is described here. In king goblins territory : 2 North, 1 West it is impossible to open the door leading to the northern rooms. I think if Halph's orb as set to open it we can continue from there.

It might be worth holding of on the update for a few days in case anyone knows of any other problems in later levels.

Just be supportive and tell mistakes!
Just be easy on them.
Or maybe you might have a room that looks unsolveble but isnt!

In this case, all the rooms were solvable, but there was a door with orb attached which kept people from getting past a room. This is provable, not mere speculation.
No one slighted the author for it, except that it went for many months unfixed - so eytanz is fixing it.

A - It's really corrected.

and

B - It still counts as the same hold ID, and everything else
