I edit a post I've made, click the button to save changes to the post. Everything seems to work, but when I go back to look at the edited post, the test is unchanged. An "edited" message appears under the sig as expected.

I've noticed this a couple of times. I'm not sure if it happens consistently. I'll try editing this message after it is posted and tell you the result.

EDIT: It worked this time.

False alarm.

I suck.

Okay, a long while back when we had some corrupted tables I did see the edit problem. But that was likely due to the corrupted tables.

It turns out that this more recent "bug" was just me accidentally hitting the "reply" button on a post instead of the "edit" button. My "edit" was present in the topic as a reply.

Sorry for all the noise. Forum monkeys please ignore my ignorance.

Yeah, I went and looked at your post, but it seems like you fixed the problem so I couldn't see it. If you see the problem again, please post about it. The things is, you always want the problem to be reproducible. It's very hard to fix a bug if it can't be reproduced. I jumped the gun on posting this bug. Feeling a little sheepish about that.
