First of all, i apologise if this has been suggested before. I could not find any threads, and then the it woudn't search for special characters, even when i removed them.


Would it be possible to place a word filter on "Re: " when searching for topics(with an option to remove the word filter) so that it wouldn't display replys?

And the option to skip special characters? i hate it how you can never search for things like don't, or comma's.

Yeah, I think the (lack of any real) search in this forum has been brought up quite a few times, but I can't think of one in particular. I think Schik did something quite recently, which broke it, so he changed it back again.. its probably quite a lot of work.

What I don't get - what about that default phpbb search you find in the majority of other forums? Is there any reason that can't be used here?

i guess he's trying to say that the search bar intergrates differently in phpbb than in iforumhacks.

Heh, yeah. I had just realised that this site didn't use the default phpbb forum thing you see on lots of other sites, as NiroZ said.
