I've just started level 15 and I find it pretty confusing - it's really unclear to me how the boomerang works. Sometimes it goes forward, sometimes backwards, and I can't figure out the rules. Sometimes it just magically teleports back to my hands. Holding my arrow on it, or on Cahil, doesn't mention anything (in general, Cahil's description is a bit lacking - it doesn't even mention that he can't turn diagonally). I would really have liked some big, open room to practice hitting relatively simple targets with the boomerang but there's no room like that around.

Normally, the flying pattern is like this:
- Fly 6 tiles forward
- Remain at the same distance for 3 moves
- Return back towards the controller
It should be noted that throwing it from a tower makes it fly farther, but otherwise the pattern is the same.

The boomerang appears to your hand instantly if it hits a wall or other solid obstacle. Orbs and monsters, for example, don't count.
