Okay, here are the rules:

1. I'll post a partial screenshot from a game, movie, etc. You can also do a portion of text from a book if you wish, just try to not use totally obscure books or movies or games.

2. People guess what it's from. If it's from a series, you must specify which one of the series it is.

3. Person who gets it right gets 2 or 3 mod points and gets to go next.

4. Once your game has been guessed, remove the in-thread images to take pity on those with low bandwith. You can keep the attachments though.

Uru, just because it *has* to be something Mysty, and most other Mysts have already been suggested. Even all my training in adventuring lore doesn't allow me to distinguish between two Mysts, though.

Yup, Cedhric got it. It's from the C64 version of Sword of Fargoal, a game so accessible that even my mum used to play it lots, but so hard that I still haven't beaten it properly.

either way, you deserve this round more than I since you could remember with more specificity. those are some of the few games I played repeatedly, but not often enough and long ago enough to not remember which is which.

Yep, it's from Thief 1, and I'm really impressed you could identify the mission as well.

I'm assuming we have to specifically say the game number based on the first entry having to be identified as Myst III.

I have played the early missions of both Thief 1 and 2 more than a few times each. I have fairly mixed feelings towards the game, finding them *very* interesting but somehow lacking after a few missions. I was just lucky you picked a mission in the first half of the game.
